SONGER signifie aussi Avoir quelque vue, quelque dessein, quelque intention. Il songe à quitter Paris. Il ne songe nullement au mariage.
Cet homme songe toujours à mal, Il songe à faire quelque mal. Cette locution signifie aussi Il prête un sens trop libre à des choses dites innocemment, il interprète malignement tout ce qu'on dit.
